Clinic Support - Alice Springs Full-time Contract Join a progressive organisation delivering community-led programs with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. $138,391.50 to $145,041.00 per annum, pro-rata Total Effective Package* $169,205 to $169,205 pro-rata About the role The Manager – Healthy Ageing Allied Health Services is responsible for the sustainable implementation of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), by providing clinical and operational support to a team delivering culturally-responsive, accessible allied health services for older community members. Key duties include supporting staff, optimising workflows, improving business systems, engaging stakeholders, providing clinical care, and driving service growth to enhance health outcomes for older Aboriginal Community members. What we’re looking for? Someone to fit our team with the following requirements: - Registered as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Podiatrist or Exercise Physiologist, with AHPRA or other relevant professional association with extensive clinical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership, supervision and support to a team of allied health professionals, including caseload management.
- Experience in program management, service development and systems.
- Ability to partner with service users, including them in goal setting, care planning and care co-ordination to identify priorities.
- An understanding of the historical and contemporary context of Aboriginal health, the social determinants of health, and the philosophy and practice of Aboriginal Community Control.
- Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
- Current NT Driver Licence or equivalent or the ability to obtain.
