Full-time Contract 37.5 hours per week $138,391 - $145,041 per annum Total Effective Package* $169,205 - $176,787 About the role The Early Years Family Support Program Manager has responsibility to provide leadership, operational support and the supervision to the Early Years Support Team. To be considered for this position, you will require: - Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or degree or post-graduate qualifications in Psychology or related discipline which is deemed equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in program management and supervising a multidisciplinary team including the ability to build and lead a professional work unit, facilitate reflective practice sessions and effectively prioritise and delegate tasks.
- Proven leadership and management skills including administration, HR practices, and program implementation, with high level of oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in providing case management and parenting support to vulnerable families and an understanding of child development and the impact of trauma on children including neglect.
- Demonstrated ability in effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders, both orally and in writing and be willing to discuss and demonstrate own knowledge and skills with work colleagues.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture, and history and knowledge of factors influencing the health and loves of Aboriginal children and families in Central Australia.
- Current NT Drivers License or the ability to obtain
