Early Childhood Educator - Team Leader

Full-time Contract 

37.5 hours per week

 

$71,916 to $79,833 per annum

Total Effective Package*

$91,360 to $100,348

 

About the role

The Early Childhood Educator Team Leader delivers education, care and leadership to a team of Early Childhood Educators in the provision of high-quality education to children attending the Ampe Kenhe Apmere Congress Child Care using a bi-cultural adaptation of the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).

 

Who are we looking for?

Someone to fit our team with the following requirements:

  • Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA.
  •  Extensive experience in mentoring and supervising Educators.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply information about how children learn and develop in practical ways.
  •  Ability to interpret and apply information provided about a diverse range of positive teaching strategies that meet the individual learning styles of the different children.
  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Early Years Framework and an understanding of the National Quality Standards.
  • Ability to contribute as an active team member to all aspects of the functioning of Congress Child Care Centre.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
