Clinic Support - Alice Springs Full-time Contract Join a progressive organisation delivering community-led programs with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. $124,156.50 to $131,215.50 per annum, pro-rata Total Effective Package* $152,974 to $161,023 pro-rata $10k sign on bonus PLUS a further $10k paid at both 12 AND 24 months of service ($30k total over 24 months) About the role The Senior Speech Pathologist – NDIS Services provides culturally responsive, high-quality speech pathology services for Aboriginal people living with disability. Responsibilities include clinical leadership and mentoring, overseeing caseloads, leading quality improvement projects, and supporting the development of the NDIS Allied Health Service. The role is primarily based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs); occasional remote travel may be a requirement of this position. What we’re looking for? Someone to fit our team with the following requirements: - Recognised as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist by Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in a Speech Pathologist leadership role including the provision of clinical supervision and implementation of quality improvement activities.
- Proven skills in the assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of disabilities including physical, cognitive and emotional development.
- Demonstrated experience working with a broad range of clients from varying socioeconomic backgrounds in manner that is child focussed, family centred and trauma-informed.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history; knowledge of factors influencing the health and lives of Aboriginal people in Central Australia.
- Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
- Current NT Driver Licence or equivalent.
