About the role The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing support to Aboriginal people and their families living with disability. The Occupational Therapist supports NDIS Applicants to optimise the functional information provided to the NDIS with their applications to join the scheme. The role will also support General Practitioners to complete the NDIS Access Request Supporting Evidence Forms. The Occupational Therapist will work mostly with adult community-based applicants with a range of clinical presentations including neurological, orthopaedic, cognitive impairment, and psychosocial disability. The role is primarily based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) with occasional remote travel as a requirement of this position. What we’re looking for: - An Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification who is eligible for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) with a minimum of two years clinical experience.
