$87,106 to $101,575 per annum

$108,604 to $125,029*

 

About the role

The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of community engagement in Congress research projects, working across the research section.

This successful candidate will coordinate community and stakeholder engagement in research projects, establish and maintain strong networks and stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will facilitate community participation in research design or policy development, fostering co-creations of solutions to address community-based challenges through collaborative research initiatives.

Help community members amplify their voices in research discussions and advocate for 

 

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of a diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. health science, public health, community service or social science. 
  • Demonstrated experience in project or service coordination in the area of community development, health services or social services with proven ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple engagement activities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, articulate messages clearly and write for a diverse audience.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders including community representatives in a cross-cultural setting.
