Base Salary: $85,176 - $99,333 (p.a.)

Total Effective Package: $105,546 - $121,475 (p.a.)*

Full Time, Max Term Contract

Role Description

The Aboriginal Family Support Worker provides culturally safe and responsive support to children and families referred to Congress’ Family Support Services. The position works collaboratively with a Case Worker under a bi-cultural pair model.

 

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Identifies an Aboriginal person; recognised and accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community
  • Excellent communication skills including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment
  • Proven experience in providing support to Aboriginal Children and families.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
