37.5 hours per week 

 

$104,539 - $125,092 per annum

Total Effective Package*

About the role

The Senior Communications Officer plays a key role in shaping and delivering Congress’ advocacy narrative and
positive storytelling across multiple channels.
This role is responsible for developing and executing compelling, culturally respectful and evidence-informed
content that amplifies Congress’ voice on key social, health and policy issues, while also highlighting the
strengths, achievements and impact of Congress’ people, services and communities.
The position contributes across internal and external communications and works closely with program areas,
leadership and community stakeholders to ensure Congress’ advocacy and good news stories are accurate,
timely, aligned with strategy and organisational priorities.
