  • Base Salary: $77,688 - $86,424 (p.a.)
  • Total Effective Package: $97,516 - $107,390 (p.a.)*

About the role

The Health Promotion Officer is responsible for implementing local health promotional activities with a focus on Cancer Prevention initiatives.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • To be of Aboriginal descent; identify as an Aboriginal person; and accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community.
  • Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
  • Certificate IV in Health Promotion or Public Health or experience in delivering programs to groups, organising and running activities and experience in promoting education.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a computer and its applications at a high standard
  • Current Driver’s License or the ability to obtain
  • To be a non-smoker with willingness to adhere to the Congress Smoke Free Workplace Policy
