Pintupi Homelands Health Service (PHHS) is located in Kintore, Northern Territory some 530 kilometres west of Alice Springs near the NT/WA border. Together with an AGPAL and ISO accredited clinic operation, PHHS also operates a Social and Emotional Wellbeing Program, Aged Care Programs and a School Nutrition Program. With around 35 employed staff these services are provided to around 450 Anangu in a holistic and culturally safe way. An emphasis is being placed on preventive health and community involvement in a commitment to Closing the Gap and improve the health and well-being of Kintore (Walungurru) Community.

About the role

 

We are looking for a CEO to lead our health organisation based in Kintore.  The successful CEO will be expected to live and work in the community.  

 

The Chief Executive role will appeal to a senior leader seeking a role that is meaningful with real potential to create positive change in a pristine remote setting. 

 

In conjunction with the Board of Directors (BOD) of Pintupi Homelands Health Service, the CEO will provide the strategic management and leadership and assume responsibility and accountability for the overall strategic and operations planning of PHHS. With a varied mix of responsibilities, the role has a strong focus in leading, developing and reviewing strategy to meet health and business objectives.

 

The successful candidate is someone who can effectively provide high level strategic advice and analysis to the Board for the development and management of key initiatives and health programs. The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a range of individuals and groups to ensure the cohesive development and delivery of PHHS services and programs.
