About the role

 

We are looking for an Early Childhood Team Leader to join our team at the Child, Health and Development Centre.

 The position supports the delivery of quality early childhood health, education and care to children based on the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a). The position is full-time and responsible for the support and mentoring of Workers and Educators at the Centre.

The Centre focuses on the implementation of a culturally rich environment that includes the use of Aboriginal languages of children in the centre, games, activities and songs.

 

Required

  • Minimum Diploma in certificate III of Children's Services or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, supporting and mentoring educational workers and educators at the centre.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cultural sensitivity and safety within the workplace and a childcare environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children and their primary caregivers, ensuring the best possible health and educational outcomes for the child and their families.
