Base Salary: $53,859 - $62,478 (p.a.)

About the Role 

The Early Childhood Educator is a position within the Child Health and Development Centre team. The position supports the delivery of quality early childhood Health, education and care to children based on the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a). The position can be full time or part time and focuses on the implementation of a culturally rich environment that includes the use of Aboriginal languages of children in the centre, games, activities and songs.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

• Minimum Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA, or willing to commence study as a condition of employment.
  
• Proven ability to demonstrate and apply working knowledge about how children learn and develop in practical ways.
  
• Ability to apply information provided about a diverse range of positive teaching strategies that meet the individual learning styles of the different children.
  
• Ability to contribute as an active team member to all aspects of the functioning of the Child Health and Development Centre.
• NT Drivers Licence or ability to obtain one.
