About the role The Clinical Educator provides clinical support and training in a clinic environment and coordinates professional development while fostering a mentor role across Congress Clinics including assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures and best practice in client centred care. The position facilitates clinical placements for nursing and allied health students and supports graduate Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHP) and Nurses by providing on-the-job clinical and career development support in town and remote clinics for practice within the Aboriginal Primary Health Care clinical environment. Occasional travel to our Congress remote Clinics is an inherent requirement of the position – most of the Clinical training is delivered/coordinated in Alice Springs.
