Full-time Contract

37.5 hours per week

 

$102,472 - $122,635 per annum

Total Effective Package*

$126,047 - $150,619

 

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources, the Aboriginal Workforce Manager is responsible for implementation of the Aboriginal Employee Plan. The Aboriginal Employee Plan will aim to deliver the goals of the strategic plan to increase Aboriginal employment, leadership and retention.

 

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Manage the Aboriginal Workforce Team providing leadership, coordination, training and support as required.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Aboriginal Employment Plan
  • Build rapport with managers and senior leaders to establish strong professional relationships to promote Aboriginal employment, development and retention
  • Liaise with educational institutions, funding bodies and other third parties to promote Aboriginal employment, development and retention
  • Contribute to the development, and implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives to promote Aboriginal employment, development and retention
  • Report on Aboriginal Employment Plan and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Ensure that actions of the human resources business plan are completed within appropriate timeframes
  • NT Drivers Licence or the ability to obtain
