Base Salary: $88,861 - $103,623 (p.a.)

Total Effective Package: $110,596 - $127,354 (p.a.)*

Role Description

The Intake Officer will support the Child and Youth Assessment & Therapeutic Service (CYATS) to ensure that incoming referrals are actioned and wait listed according to priority, along with routine maintenance of assessment and therapeutic wait lists. The service aims to provide children and young people with neurodevelopmental vulnerability access to seamless assessment, therapeutic interventions and management to support access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme through a multidisciplinary team (MDT).

To be considered for this position, you will require:

• Minimum of diploma qualified in relevant child-focussed discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in a child-focussed service that requires a priority system to wait list clients;
  
• Knowledge of child development, including neurodevelopmental disorders including FASD, ASD, ADHD and Global Development Disorders;
• Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain collaborative working partnerships with internal and external providers
