About the role 

 

The General Practitioner - Child Health provides culturally responsive GP services with a focus on the health and development of children. The GP will provide primary health care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team at a dedicated child health clinic.  

 

 

What we’re looking for 

We’re looking for GPs who can build strong, trusting relationships with children, patients, carers and the community. If you have: 

  • Current AHPRA registration. 
  • RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship. 
  • Commitment to Culturally responsive care. 

 

The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive, flexible attitude, coupled with a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds

Since that time, Congress has expanded to become the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health service in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally responsive primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in Alice Springs and nearby remote communities.
