Full-time Contract 37.5 hours per week Aboriginal identified role $88,861 - $103,623 per annum Total Effective Package* $110,597 - $127,354 About the role Reporting to the Aboriginal Workforce Manager, this role will support the implementation and monitoring of the Aboriginal Employment Plan. The Aboriginal Employment Plan will aim to deliver the goals of the strategic plan to increase Aboriginal employment, leadership and retention. To be considered for this position, you will require: - Is of Aboriginal descent; identifies as an Aboriginal person; and is accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community.
- Certificate IV in Human Resources or Training and Assessment or the ability to obtain or relevant experience.
- A strong understanding of the Aboriginal culture and the issues currently affecting communities in Central Australia.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, empower others and engage with stakeholders.
- A credible and ethical work approach.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sounds organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise and schedule training, work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for the development of workers and aligning learning pathways to strategy and succession plans.
- High level of motivation with the ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
- High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new computer programs.
- Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
- Current Drivers License or the ability to obtain.
