Full-time Contract 37.5 hours per week Aboriginal Identified position Male Identified position $77,688 - $86,424 per annum Total Effective Package* $98,309 - $108,270 About the role Reporting to the Senior Manager – Ingkintja, the Codes 4 Life Project Officer is responsible for ensuring the Codes 4 Life workshops and activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis. The role focuses on providing support to the Senior Manager - Ingkintja to prepare, deliver, and evaluate the workshops by collecting data and following up with Codes 4 Life participants. The Project Officer plays a key role in assisting the Senior Manager - Ingkintja to develop and grow the program’s efficacy. To be considered for this position, you will have: - The ability to work collaboratively and communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment with Aboriginal Elders, clients and staff, including excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve results and meet deadlines within tight time constraints.
- Proficiency in IT systems and software (e.g. MS Office or similar) and the ability to learn new systems, processes and technologies.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history, and the ability to be discreet and maintain a high level of respect and confidentiality.
- Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
- a Current NT Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one.
