About the role We are looking for a Program Leader to join the team at our Child Health & Development Centre. To be eligible for the position, you must have experience in a similar role as a Program Leader with a focus on programming and development, creative and stimulating room design. The successful applicant will be well presented and communicate effectively at all levels. The CHaD Program Leader delivers quality early childhood education, health and development programs to children using children’s first language based on the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) within a culturally secure framework. The position focuses on the implementation of a culturally rich environment that includes the use of Aboriginal languages of children in the centre, games, activities and songs. Congress has a strong focus on cultural safety and working within a bi-cultural model. The Centre ensures the delivery of supportive and culturally appropriate primary healthcare, building on existing positive relationships with Aboriginal families to ensure; regular family engagement, increased enrolments, and increased children’s participation and attendance.
