About the role The Community Engagement Officer works in partnership with families and key stakeholders to advocate and raise awareness around mental health and suicide and to raise the profile and awareness of SEWB and Culture Care Connect services. The position coordinates and delivers community awareness activities, promotions and educational presentations around Central Australia. The position is located within the Congress Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service with access to a network of peer support including clinical supervision. The SEWB team embeds three streams of care: medical, therapeutic and cultural and social support with intensive case management as required. People accessing the SEWB services have access to a dedicated GP and nursing team (healthcare pods) that can provide mental health care plans and integrated care through our therapeutic and social and cultural support model.
